Emmaville Primary School

Children in Need Day

15th November 2019

Due to so much amazing generosity, we managed to raise a phenomenal £902.34 for Children in Need. This was raised through the sale of Pudsey merchandise and also through the fantastic amount of cakes and other delicious baked goods which were donated to our Children in Need bake sale. We were quite overwhelmed by the response that was shown to this, and as always, were very grateful for the support given to such events by our considerate children and their families.

It was a busy day in school; the children in Key Stage 1 started the fun by taking part in a workout run by Children in Need ambassador, Joe Wicks. This was live streamed into the school hall and was a great way to start our day. The school council then did an amazing job running the bake sale in the dance studio which all ran smoothly. Wales class then performed a lovely class assembly to the rest of the school, highlighting the importance of Children in Need as a charity and also thinking about how we should try to show kindness in all aspects of our lives. A great day at Emmaville, and once again, thanks to everyone.
