Day Two

allow-comments
A fantastic start to our second day, with a visit to the amazing Science Museum.  We saw planes, trains and automobiles; marvelled at the achievements of space flight; and had a brilliant hour or so in the Wonderlab, where we played with light, forces and electricity; We even spotted the American Youtuber MatPat, a vlogger and gaming commentator. Apparently.
Next stop Madame Tussauds, where we met the famous, the notorious and the fantastical.  From the likes of Anthony Joshua and Boris Jonson, to Dua Lipa and Jabba the Hutt, they were all there.  We had great fun posing with anyone and anything that would stay still for long enough.  We also sat though a 4-D Avengers film, in which our senses were assaulted by all manner of flashes, vibrations, jets of air and lunging characters.  All brilliant fun!
What better way to round off the day than a tasty meal at Pizza Express on the banks of the River Thames.  The food was lovely and the staff were super-efficient, so we were soon feeling contentedly full, ready for a short walk to Tower Pier.  It wasn't long before we found ourselves sailing past some of the capital's most iconic sights, alighting at the London Eye for a few photos in the evening sun.

We're now back at the hotel, doing our best to chill out and get an earlier night, ready for another day packed full of new experiences.  Thanks to all who have left a comment - we've really enjoyed hearing from the folks back home - keep them coming!
