Year 2 Home Learning

Welcome to our home learning page. If you are unable to come to school, here are our class activities for you to do at home.  This will help children to keep up-to-date with what is happening at school.  The weekly overviews contain links for suggested websites, and if there any other resources like worksheets or PowerPoints, you will find links for those as well.

Good morning year 2,

You have made it to your final week of home learning! Well done to you all; we are extremely proud of effort you have put in and the resilience you have all shown. We can't wait to see you next Monday and be back in the classroom, learning together. This week we have two live lessons; Tuesday 2nd and Thursday 4th both at 11:15am; it would be lovely to see you there! Remember, it's World Book Day on Thursday, so feel free to dress up as your favourite book character for our live lesson, but there is no pressure to do so.

Hello to our lovely Year 2 children,

We hope that you have all had an enjoyable weekend and are ready for another week of home learning. We have both been so impressed with the work that you have been sharing on Seesaw; you are putting in lots of effort and producing super pieces of work! Your revolting recipes inspired by “The Twits” really made us laugh; what disgustingly great ideas you all have!!

We are both so proud of you all and we know that you will continue to make us proud. Thank you parents too; it doesn’t go unnoticed the effort that you are putting in. Your support with the home learning is greatly appreciated by us both.

Below is the time table and recourses for this week’s home learning… As always, if you have any queries, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Take care and we can’t wait to see you all soon,

Miss McPherson and Miss Kenyon.
