Year 6 France Residential

7th June 2018

What an amazing five days!  When we take the children away from their families and loved ones for longer than they've ever been before, they can't help but change, and this group of young explorers really got the most out of their time in France and Belgium.   From trying out their conversational French that they'd been practising at school, finding out about the horrors of the Great War and finding their name-sake in Europe's largest memorial cemetery, to sampling the delights of a fresh Belgian waffle and ice cream, gawping at the most awe-inspiring aquarium tanks and challenging themselves to some thrilling theme park rides, this residential was truly a time of fun, discovery and growth.  The children were a pleasure to spend time with, and they were all a credit to their families.
The photos below will give you an ideas of how much we packed into our time away, but head to the Residentials section of the website to get the full experience.
