Diary dates for the coming weeks:
Friday 26th November – Monthly Virtual Celebration Assembly.
Tuesday 30th November – Year 5 pupils will visit the Centre for Life.
Wednesday 1st December – Parents/Carers will receive pupil target sheets that were shared at this term’s Parents/Carers’ meetings.
Wednesday 1st December – The children in Northern Europe will be performing in the Gateshead Schools Sports Partnership Cheerleading Festival.
Wednesday 1st December at 4 pm - The children in Northern and Southern Europe will be joining the children from St. Agnes school to sing Carols before the Christmas tree lights are switched on in Crawcrook.
Monday 6th December – Emmaville’s autumn term enrichment week. The theme of the week is STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).
Monday 6th December – The Year 2 pupils will have completed the Phonics Screen Check by the end of this day.
Wednesday 8th December – Pupils from Year 1 – Year 6 will travel to the Northern Stage to see a performance of the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Please note, school will be funding this visit.
Friday 10th December – Christmas Jumper/Festive Outfit Day. We will also be making a recording of our chosen Christmas song which will posted on the school’s website by Wednesday 15th December.
Monday 13th December – On the afternoon of the 13th, the children in Reception and Year 1 & 2 will be participating in the Greediest Christmas Elf workshop brought to us by Bigfoot Performance Arts Company.
Wednesday 15th December – Christmas dinner. Children are invited to come to school again in their Christmas jumpers/festive outfits.
Thursday 16th December – Ring out the bells as it is ‘Party Time’. Children should come to school dressed in their party finery.
Friday 17th December – School closes for Christmas.
Tuesday 4th January – School reopens for the spring term.
Please note, there will be no after school club on Thursday 16th or Friday 17th December. Normal service will resume on Tuesday 4th January.
