Dear Families of Emmaville,
We have much to celebrate as we close for the academic year. I want to pay tribute to our whole school community’s dedication to keep spirits high and for trying to provide the best care that could be given under extremely difficult circumstances.
I am incredibly proud of our families, you have done a phenomenal job supporting your children throughout the pandemic, especially with home learning; I appreciate everything you have helped them to accomplish.
The children have been a credit to us all. They have bounced back into school life after a number of disruptions. They have been so happy and incredibly resilient, always ready for their next challenge and just glad to be reunited with their pals. They must be praised for responding so positively to the restrictions imposed upon them, they have accepted the changes without complaint; I am extremely proud of each and everyone of them.
My teaching team and office staff have been as amazing as always, they have gone the extra mile and even when things were really tough, they pulled together to give their support. Their passion, energy and drive to inspire our children is something I am extremely grateful for. The commitment to provide the best possible education to the children in our care has remained paramount throughout this very turbulent year. I do hope that the academic year 2021/22 will not be so challenging and that the words of C S Lewis will be true, ‘There are far better things ahead than any we leave behind.
Wraparound provision We have been reviewing arrangements for the wraparound provision. As mentioned in a previous letter to parents, breakfast and after school club will continue to be provided in the children’s classrooms and the current cost for this provision will remain the same for the first 3 weeks of the autumn term. During the 3rd week of the autumn term arrangements will be reviewed and parents will be notified of our intentions going forward.
