Day Three

allow-comments
We had an amazing day three in the capital yesterday. The children really loved seeing all the beautiful artefacts in the Tower of London (unfortunately, we weren’t allowed to take photos, or bring any of them home) and meeting the Beefeaters who protect the most valuable items in the Tower.

After lunch, we boarded a beautiful cruise boat and sailed from the Tower of London to Westminster where we saw some of London’s must-see landmarks.  The children loved the live commentary and hearing all the interesting facts.

Before dinner, we just had enough time for a quick play in Jubilee Park which is overlooked by the stunning London Eye.

After dinner, we headed straight to the Lyceum Theatre in the West End to see one of the best musicals of all time: The Lion King.

There were some really sleepy little heads on the coach back to the hotel, but we still managed a little sing song then it was straight to bed to recharge our batteries for our final day.
