Well done to the Emmaville football team who started their league programme in great form.
The team once again played beautiful football in all five games and combined that with real commitment and a great work ethic. They showed lots of individual quality and worked well as a team unit. Every one of the ten players made a positive contribution and the team came away with two wins, two draws and one lose. Whilst positive, the results did not fully reflect the performances and dominance of the team who were outstanding throughout and had opportunities to convert those draws and the loss into wins,
The team and have put themselves in a strong position (joint second) for the second part of the season which restarts in March. Well done to not just the ten team members, but also all the squad members who have consistently come along to training this season and put such effort, dedication and enthusiasm into their development.
