Week beginning 5th May 2026
This half term in Science we have been looking at electricity.  We have been looking at everyday electricity, how we use electricity and how to keep safe when using electrical devices.  This week we put all of skills and knowledge to the test and built our own electrical circuits. The children did a brilliant job of predicting how to make their circuit and also problem solving if things didn't quite go to plan.  By the end of the session, all of the children were able to make their bulb light up successfully.

Week beginning 27th April 2026
For this half term we are lucky enough to be recieving some tennis coaching as one of our weekly PE sessions. Ian, from Blaydon Tennis club, will be teaching us lots of brilliant tennis skills.  So far the children have been amazing and are thoroughly enjoying their coaching.  Fantastic work Northern Ireland class!
Week beginning 20th April 2026
Welcome back everyone!  It is lovely to see you all back at school - and even nicer to have some sunshine too!  This week in English we have been looking at possessive apostrophes.  We learnt that a possessive apostrophe is an important piece of punctuation which shows if a noun belongs to another noun.  To help us remember this, we played a hat game on the interactive whiteboard then used this knowledge to write our own sentences on a whiteboard while remembering to use our possessive apostrophes.  Great work Northern Ireland.
